Job description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Setup of machinery and ensures all production materials are available. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS High School of Vocational School Diploma and/or GED required. 0-2 years of experience related production experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic math skills are required to perform necessary job functions. An understanding of basic measuring equipment (micrometers, dial calipers and dial indicators). Good communication skills including the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with some machining experience is a plus. May require the use of fork trucks, overhead cranes, hand carts and the occasional use of hand tools. Must be capable of obtaining a fork truck license and/or overhead crane license and must obtain a lockout/tagout certification.
