Job Summary:
Provides gas to our customers through gas distribution mains. You will assist in the installation and maintenance of natural gas pipelines, mains and services.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company, safety rules and procedures to avoid injuries and other incidents
- Work independently and safely in conjunction with a supervisor or project manager
- Provide support through physical labor, equipment operation and any other tasks assigned
- Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles
- General labor tasks include hand digging, job site set up, saw cutting and pipefitting
Requirements:
- Current license with good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (company and DOT required)
- 3+ year(s) of experience in construction
- 2+ year(s) of experience operating heavy machinery and equipment;
- Experience fusing plastic pipe or working around utilities is a plus
- CDL is preferred but not required
