Job Description Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As an engineer with our Springfield, MO Water/Wastewater team, you will provide project design utilizing CAD/modeling software, perform technical analysis, prepare construction documents, provide construction services, perform research, and write technical reports. You will work closely with other team members and engineers on wastewater collection and treatment projects along with water supply, storage, treatment, and distribution. Typical projects you will work on include sanitary sewer piping, wastewater pump stations, wastewater treatment facilities, water piping, water supply wells, water storage tanks, and water treatment facilities. You may travel to job sites for observation in all types of terrain and weather conditions and project sites in various stages of construction.

Job Description Olsson takes on anything from backyard flooding problems in a community to the complex challenges presented with watershed management, irrigation districts, and recreational facilities. As a Project Engineer on the Water Resources team, you will provide various engineering and project management duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing projects. You may assist with developing the project scope and schedule, project documentation, and reviewing shop drawings. Travel may be needed to job sites for observation in all types of terrain and weather conditions, as well as project sites in various stages of construction.
